How to Check AI Answers: Five Free Classroom Exercises
Five free exercises to check AI answers critically. Artificial intelligence can help people learn, but its output may be incomplete or wrong. Use these exercises with any suitable tool.
1. Ask for an explanation. Rephrase the same question and compare the two answers for consistency.
2. Ask for counterexamples. Find out where the explanation might fail and whether uncertainty is acknowledged.
3. Verify sources yourself. Open original references and check authorship, dates and whether the evidence supports the claim.
4. Compare languages. Ask the same non-personal question in two languages and check for differences in meaning.
5. Rewrite and reflect. Explain the result in your own words, document uncertainty and consult trustworthy educational sources.
